For 20 years, Jeff Suva (founder of Suva Tile) provided meticulous care for his clients and their stone and tile needs. Under his ownership, Suva Tile received several awards, including Best of Houzz Service Award for seven consecutive years (2015-2021, as well as 2023), Patriot Partner recognition by Governor Gary Herbert in 2016 and over 60 five-star reviews.

Jeff Suva retired in 2023, turning the flourishing company over to long-time friend and stone expert David Bonasera. Bonasera taught Jeff Suva how to run a floor machine and polish floors over 23 years ago. As the new owner of Suva Tile, Bonasera brings over 38+ years of experience in cleaning, sealing and stone restoration to the company. Additionally, David Bonasera brings his unique knowledge of natural stone and tile repairs, including tile and grout crack repair, shower restoration and shower/shower pan repairs, sub floor assessments, countertop seam repairs and specialty repairs that are often beyond the scope of other trained professionals.

David Bonasera has chosen Jacob Nye to run Suva Tile under its new management.

Jacob Nye has an extensive background in the residential construction industry. He began building houses with his dad at a young age while growing up in Logan, Utah. As a young man, Jacob served a mission for his church in Belgium and Holland. More recently, Jacob has worked in the insurance and restoration industry. While working for restoration companies in Birmingham Alabama, and St. George, Utah, Jacob saw all aspects of restoration, remodeling and rebuilding of residential and commercial properties. Jacob has a bachelor’s degree in social work from Brigham Young University–Idaho. Jacob calls St. George home and when he isn’t polishing countertops or cleaning, sealing and repairing floors, he loves spending time with his three children and beautiful wife.
